Thanks for all the input on my bad addresses question. El Nino must have
affected everyone the first time around <G>.
Right now, I just put a note in the e mail slot that the address is no
longer valid. I have had people contact me with a new address after this
has been done.
I think that I will probaly leave them on line for a few months and then
remove the post. Some of you have stated that a query can give someone a
breakthru even if they can't contact the researcher. I'm sure that can
happen but no one has ever notified me that it has happened with my
site. I have however been contacted several times about frustrations
with an invalid e mail. Even if it is posted that it is invalid, people
contact me wanting to know if I have any more info.
I send a general announcement message two or three times a year that
helps to keep addresses somewhat current. This has been very helpful.
