Dave et al:
I'm currently trying (summer plans make it hard to keep at it
consistently) to make alphabetical listings of all the queries I've
received on Seneca & Geauga Co.'s using CCHelper, which will hopefully make
it easier for people to find & contact other researchers. Would this
count????
I have a Surname page on my Clark Co. WA page (was already done when I
took it over). I notice that many will register their surnames on the
Surname page but don't leave a query on the Query page, and vice-versa. I
suppose that those who don't need any information on their names would make
the best use of the Surname page, as opposed to those who are still looking
for the data.

I may have missed 'conversation' on this - - but nowhere in the
Requirements
or Recommendations section is it suggested that each site include a
LIST
OF
SURNAMES that relate to the Queries that are posted at the site.
While
performing personal research, I have visited some sites that do not
include
a surname list, and frankly, reading through months of queries just
to
find
someone that may be researching the same lines is not time effective
- -
which - - to me - - renders the site somewhat worthless (I don't mean
that
as a pejorative statement - - just a personal observation).
