I may have missed 'conversation' on this - - but nowhere in the Requirements
or Recommendations section is it suggested that each site include a LIST OF
SURNAMES that relate to the Queries that are posted at the site. While
performing personal research, I have visited some sites that do not include
a surname list, and frankly, reading through months of queries just to find
someone that may be researching the same lines is not time effective - -
which - - to me - - renders the site somewhat worthless (I don't mean that
as a pejorative statement - - just a personal observation).
I realize that our sites offer much more than just query postings, but
without a surname list, I don't feel that queries can be used that
effectively - - - so as long as we are going to REQUIRE queries, why not
REQUIRE a surname list that is linked to a researchers e-mail address OR, at
least include it as a RECOMMENDATION. Using CCHelper makes the posting of
surnames automatic. Many of us did the manually for months prior to
CCHelper being available.
Have I missed something? Do others agree with me? Disagree? (your
perspective please)
I'll appreciate other perspectives.

Hi All,
I appreciate all the input we have gotten regarding the requirements of
becoming a county coordinator.
We have a good varity of ideas.
I have been trying to incorporate all of your thoughts. Not everyone is
going to be happy. Therefore, once again I ask you to check out the
progress at
