I just read that rootsweb/ancestry/myfamily/the generations network

just sold again. From what I read online there are no promises to
Rootsweb people. Personally I think that the original purpose of our
sites is becoming lost in all the sales and resales of the companies.
If you have a free website with your email/internet connection company
you might think about moving your county site there. If you change,
just send me your new URL's so that I can link to you on the OHGenWeb
page. This is mainly important to people who have placed a lot of their
own content on their county sites and who want to make sure that their
sites are not used commercially. We still haven't heard any updates
from the National Coordinator on terms or agreements.
