When did commentary substitute for a tally? What rule of
order is that from?
I don't recall seeing a message that showed a tally of
CC's with "Yes No or Abstain."
Anyone else get that message?
Would appreciate it if proposals are handled in the same
manner officially as other things brought to the table.
If the proposed amendment has broad support in Ohio,
then go for it.
I have not seen anything that tallies such a thing.
Where's the process?

Wow - I wish _I_ could have a 15-day holiday weekend! Where do I sign
up for that job? <grin>
The original amendment was posted to our OHGW CCs on 17 May 2000. The
commentary presented by the CCs in OHGW overwhelmingly supported the
amendment, thus OHGW supports this amendment to be placed on the July
2000 USGW ballot for a project-wide vote. The amendment was co-sponsored
today, 31 May 2000.
If 15 days isn't enough time for commentary from everybody...well,
that's a mighty long time to sit silent if an opinion is present in
one's mind, n'est pas? :-) There was a call for commentary, and I
_specifically_ said:

Apparently only those who had an opinion spoke up, and I thank them for
their participation! They're what make OHGW a great place for CCs, a
great place for researching, and a great place to enjoy our hobby -- we
have the freedom (and invited opportunity) to speak up on what makes
OHGW tick successfully.
Thanks!
