How are others handling this situation?
A researcher has written a couple of books about the infirmary in Coshocton. He emailed
me and asked if I would list the book on the website and it is for sale. Are we allowed to
list books for sale? It looks like a worthwhile resource.
This is the listing:
Volume I is a 273 page spiral-bound book. Included are chapters on History and Law of Ohio
and Coshocton County dealing with the Poorhouse, Listings of Infirmary
Board/Superintendents/Matrons/Bd of Charity members, Newspaper articles from 1857 - 2001,
Infirmary Burials, Personal accounts and recollections, Pictures and a Surname Index.
Volume II is a 354 page spiral-bound book made up of Infirmary Records from Jan 1884 -
April 1947 and a surname index.
The price is $60 for the two volumes set, or $35 for each volume. Packaging and mailing
cost is $6 for the set, or $4.50 per volume. Ohio residents pay sales tax according to
their resident county. Coshocton Co Tax is $4.20 for a set or $2.45 per book.
