I think the logos are very pretty but I agree with
Denny very patriotic but nothing new and not genealogy
related. Acceptable are alternate logos.

As Jan said, they would be acceptable until
something better comes along
but I really think the designers need to work
something into the logo
that actually represents our hobby/passion beyond
our patriotic fervor.
I think the flag should be part of it but not the
focus. I don't have a
clue as to what a new logo in this vein would
comprise but it is a theme
worthy of discussion.
