I agree as to placing something as serious as this up to consideration for a
vote, but we got a message that Allen, our State Coordinator said Ohio was
to be a co-sponsor of placing the amendment on the ballot BECAUSE there was
a "plurality" of OHGenWeb supporting the amendment".
For some reason, I didn't receive the first message and just found out about
this yesterday.......after all the "consideration" and discussion was
over...
So for sure, that plurality didn't include me....and how many others were
not aware for one reason or the other.
If there should be a vote then there should be a
vote...if it is up to the State Coordinator then that is the way it is in
Ohio....
Personally, I think just from reading it over, that limiting the reasons
someone can be recalled may defeat the purpose for allowing recall votes in
the first place...but that is just one of the first things I noticed...
How can you know what someone can do that would be unacceptable behavior yet
still stay within the boundaries of the by-laws...until they do it...
