One more thing for me to add and then I will step off the box!
Allen also is it possible that maybe someone tried to transcribe the
80 people who died in the coal mine disaster and did not get copyright
permission to do so??
Secondly why can't this person transcribe it and submit it to the
county site. That is what makes up the USGW and OHGW.
The CC cannot be totally responsible for having everything on the
site, secondly a lot of CC's do have a life and they should be
appreciated for what it is they do!

Subject: OHGenWeb Mail: An Item to Ponder
Howdy folks:
I received the email below today, and thought I'd pass it on simply
as
a point to ponder.

I am greatly disturbed that people are adopting these counties and
not
contributing to the information provided on the pages.
What good is a person to a county if they don't live in or can
research
in that county? Waiting for information from other people will not
get
the information on the pages!
I went to the Historical Society in Columbus, Ohio today and found a
listing of over 80 people who died in the "worst coal mine disaster
in
Ohio" yet this information is not on the [OHGW COUNTY] County
page
where
it should be. Why????????????
Either get people who are responsbile for putting information about
the
county on the page or get rid of them!!!!

I've already addressed this researcher's items, but I thought you'd
like
to share your insights (if any) on what you find here with our OHGW
colleagues.
