frames, can you design the page in such a way that
when a person follows a link to an external linked
site, the frames disapear? In other words, is it
possible to use frames for your linked pages (queries,
surnames, etc) but set things up so that when you go
to someone else's page (local genealogical society,
local public library, etc.) it isn't framed by my
page?

Yes, all you have to do is place in the link as an added attribute. Use the
TARGET="_top" or TARGET="_blank". I think TARGET="_top" is
best for what you
need.
