Thanks for the welcome!
I'm looking forward to working with all of you. As Dale said, my mother's family
came into Adams County in the late 1700s and settled in the Gift Ridge area. My
grandmother, Ida Ailshire Polly was born on Brush Creek and was a direct descendant of the
Boones, Blythes and Ailshire/Aleshire's of Adams County.. My grandfather descended
from the Crawford, Nixon, Chipps, McClung and related lines. We still have a lot of family
left in Adams County and the surrounding counties, but I have lost track of most of them.
According to my mother, we are related to half the county, but. . . LOL!
Enough of my genealogy, now onto the real work.
Pauli (who really didn't slap Dale's hand - too hard)

Subject: [OHGENWEB] New Adams County CC
'Tis a good day in OHGenWebLand.
Welcome to Pauli Smith, the new CC for Adams County. It's Pauli, not Paul.
I've already committed that mistake and had my hands slapped.
Pauli is CC for Boulder and and Weld counties in Colorado, but her family
settled in Adams County OH in the late 1700's. She's been active in
COGenWeb for 12 years, so Adams is remaining in good hands.
Welcome, Pauli!
