RootsWeb never had the virus problem. The virus infection involved
sites hosted on theusgenweb servers. I have sites on both theusgenweb
servers and RootsWeb.
The genweb servers were deleted to stop the infection, and new
passwords were issued to rebuild the sites.
I had no problems with my RootsWeb site.
Any problems with RootsWeb sites should be directed to the Help Desk
http://rootsweb.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/rootsweb.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.php...
by using the 'ask a question' tab and in the 'Category' drop down menu
there are selections for websites hosted on RootsWeb.
There is an email address for direct contact to the person who handles
the RootsWeb sites but I don't remember what it is, and using the help
desk will send those messages to that person.
