Hi, Carol.
There is a plaque at a new local Kansas outdoor shopping center honoring a
former resident of Lamira, OH, Susannah Madora Salter, nation's first woman
mayor. She came to Kansas with her family in 1872.
I don't know any more about her than the plaque, but wondered if you would
have any interest in it for your OHGenWeb site. The plaque is one of several
in the sidewalks at the Legends Outdoor Shopping Mall in Village West, in
southern Kansas City Kansas.
