It is that time again to elect a National Coordinator as we do each
year. Hopefully you checked your voting registration and your email is
correctly registered.
I know most of us do not want to participate in politics of USGenWeb but
I urge you to visit the mailing lists such as discuss
http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/USGENWEB-DISCUSS/2007-06 and take
the time to read the candidates questions and answers. This will inform
you of how a candidate will respond while in charge of our project and
will help you make an informed decision. There is much heated debate on
the above mentioned list of about 890 messages. The future of the
USGENWEB project will depend on your vote!
Running for the office of National Coordinator is OHGenWeb's CC and
mailing list helper - Bill Oliver; also running is Tina Vickery; Donal
Kelly; Daryl Lytton; and Charles Barnum.

As many of you know I have been in Europe for the past month, I got to
tell you it is great to be home now on American soil! I am hoping to
put up a web page of the interesting things seen and will keep you
informed of when that is ready.
Wishing everyone a great 4th of July holiday, after Europe, the holiday
has renewed meaning for me this year! Freedom and Independence is
nothing to be taken lightly and I have a renewed respect and
appreciation for ancestors that took a chance on both by coming to
America. God Bless the USA!
Sandra Quinn, OHGenWeb state coordinator
