*_My other Research_*
I have found John Hills and his wife Martha in Willoughby, Lake County
Ohio with their children in Census 1880.
-Bell M, Frank, and Augusta. John, Martha, Mary (Bell), Reuben Byron,
and Lysander Bascom are buried in Willoughby Village Cemetery Section K,
Rows 19-20 in Lake county Ohio. My hopes are to find out more about
this family, mainly Johns father Reuben, so I can either connect them to
my family tree or get the family Bible to someone who is in that line of
Hills.
John's son Frank died in MO and so did Franks wife Mamie or Marie. Looks
like she died shortly after their son Eugene Lysander Hills was born. I
found Eugene living with some relatives in MO (Elton Harris) , he lived
with his aunt Ruby for a while too, according to Census Records.
There are four pictures that have no names but state they were taken in
Ohio Professionally. There was a letter in the Bible from a Lillie M.
Wood to her cousin Florence or Flossie Paine/Payne.
In 1850 Reuben Hills is in Clayton, Adams, Illinois with his wife
Electa, a James Beall, Caroline, Reuben Hills, and a Thomas Mc Boutney?
