Thank you, he had a brother Albert J. Smith born in 1918, and William A. was born in
1916.
Parents were F. E. Smith and Mable Learned Smith. F. E. Smith died before 1920. Albert
went by Bert Smith and maybe he can be located easier than Wm. Smith. They were all Born
in
Millfield, Athens county, Ohio. Andrew Jackson Learned, Mabel's father died in
Franklin
county Columbus Ohio in the 1940's. I have located his obituary with some relatives
info I
will post in the morning.
Praying people: I just got a phone call from my friend asking for prayer for her
daughter Melissa Phillips. She is a 32 year old mother of two. Doctors thought she had
a brain aneurysm and did a spinal tap along with other tests. They ruled out anneurysm
but lost spinal fluid during the spinal tap and now she will surgically have her own
blood put into her spine to replace the missing fluid. The pain in her head is
excruciating.
Her surgery is at St. John's hospital in the morning at 10 am. Please help us help
her
with prayer! It is an out patient surgery thankfully but she is in extreme pain and
off balance.
Thank you!
Sandy

Sandy,
His grandfather was "Andrew Jackson Learned" not Smith. There could be a couple
of obits ordered
from the Columbus Library on the "Learned" family that might yield something
easier than searching
the Smith family.
William Andrew Smith could very well be still living today. Who knows where?
I've tried looking for Mabel via
ancestry.com, Oh death's etc. and even the
Family search site for
Ohio death certificates.............. I also have a subscription to
GenealogyBank.com
& Footnotes. ,
neither place can I can an easy handle on William, parents or siblings.
It will take more digging.
Linda
