Hi All,
Thanks for all the hints, tips and encouragement. Our problem is that
only about half of the book is computerized. A lot of it was done on a
typewriter. No one wants to go to the effort of computerizing the rest of
it. I sure don't want the job of scanning the thing. Was hoping to find a
company that tore books apart, scanned them, then put them onto CDs.
Since so many people are putting new books on CDs, I think we might
start thinking along those lines as well. A lot of people still like
paper/books, so we would still publish some in that format.
Thanks to all !!

Take a look at Flipalbum, its for pictures but can be used for text. I
have
put together some family albums and they worked fine. After you get the
album done you can export a Cd then write the files to a CD. It makes the CD
autorun etc. Which makes it easy to distribute to people with limited
computer skills.

books. We're talking more like burning it on to our own CD's, but it's just
"talk" right now. So any ideas would be welcome.
