It looks as though someone messed up/changed the HTTP permissions on the web
site, so the server understood the requests but wouldn't allow entry. I
don't know how the search function would have anything to do with that --
but these tech guys will tell you anything to get you off their back. Glad
we're back up Allen.

Actually, there was a server malfunction which unexpectedly gummed up
the works. The site search engine went into overtime due to high
volume and gummed things up - and couldn't have come at a worse time,
since I've been out of town since early Monday. Been playing phone tag
with the service techs and (now that I'm back and have taken a look
around) it looks like things are back in swing again.
