Although I live in Pittsburgh area and a drive to Ohio is shorter than most,
with 6 children, two sets of parents and 4 siblings who live throughout the
country to fit in each year. Trying to make time for other things that
involve travel is just not there. Its hard to fit in just a regular vacation where
we don't have to go see anyone for myself and my husband! I don't think it
would be fair to ask individuals who "volunteered" to add information to a web
site to spend their personal resources and additional time traveling outside
their area. That to me is not a simpler solution. The Internet provides
various ways to conduct meetings, one being private chat room, which cost nothing
and requires no additional expenses to the volunteers.

I like this simple idea, but maybe we should consider a "once a
year"
meeting in person. I'm not sure where everyone is, but if they could not
attend, they could give someone else a "proxy" vote..
Might make our everyday life a little simpler.
