Linda - word from Rootsweb was that they were holding bounced messages
until they were again whitelisted so most people will not MISS mail, but
will get an awful lot of back mail all at once. In the meantime, people
who were not receiving mail were asked to use the archives. Old news, but
might explain your experience.

Well, 'I'm not sure exactly what happened yesterday with my mail from this
list
& several others to which I subscribe, but it looks like abt. 9:30 last night
everything started coming through (by the rec'd time). At this point it
doesn't
look like I am even missing any messages so I am at a loss to explain the
"bounce" that Sandy rec'd. It appears more like all mail from some rootsweb
lists was "held" for abt. 24 hours & then sent. I might not even had
noticed
there was a problem if Sandy had not posted to the list to which Bill
Oliver had
written to me directly to let me know!
I hope everyone else that was having problems yesterday are also receiving
their
list mail.
This whole situation causes me to now wonder about a few things regarding
timeframes for voting in this internet world as well as the current situation
regarding rootsweb & Spam Cop.........
