I am currently researching my family, which through civil war draft registration records and census records, I believe came from Wyoming County New York. The name of my Great, Great, Great Grandfather is GEORGE G. Rose. He was born in 1844 in New York and later moved to north western PA. According to civil war draft registration papers, he listed his county of origin as Wyoming county. I really don't know much else about his family other than he had a sister (name unknown) and a brother, Francis Rose. I have found some census documents that lead to me speculate that his parents might be named Isaac and Celestia, however, this is based on guess work at best. I am hoping someone out there has some information that they can share with me regarding George and his family, or point my in the direction as to where I might be able to look for more information. Thanks in advance!
