CARR--- Wyoming County, NY---Looking for birth information for George Daniel
CARR, George D. CARR, George CARR (all the same person.) He was born about
1875 in either Five Corners, NY or Five Points, NY. He is the father of a male
born 1909 in Charlestown, MASS. The child's father may have been in the U.S.
Navy and stationed in MASS or NH. The child's mother was from NH and lived in
Charlestown a very short time and then returned to NH. The mother and child
in the 1910 Federal Census for NH.
The only counties that I now know contained the place names before 1875 are
Cayuga and Wyoming. The Cayuga info. is from French's Gazetteer (1860).
The Wyoming info. Is from Hough's Gazetteer (1873). There are many other
counties that now have either one or both of the NY place-names.
