F.A.C.S.I. is pleased to announce that we will represent Hon. Calvin Decker
Van Name, 3rd Staten Island Borough President, May 21, 12 - 4 p.m. at the
Borough Hall Centennial Celebration. Calvin is interred in abandoned Lake Cemetery
on Forest Avenue. F.A.C.S.I. will supply a brochure handout introducing Hon.
Calvin D. Van Name and host an informational table. Our volunteers will
dress in period 1906 in the spirit of the centennial event. Special
acknowledgment to Pat Salmon, Curator of History, S.I. Museum for research assistance!

History comes ALIVE! Historic Walking Tour of Staten Island/Fountain
Cemeteries, June 10th, 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. (rain date June 11) Richmond Terrace, between
Alaska St & Tompkins Court. As part of JuneFEST sponsored by S.I. Council of
the Arts & Humanities. The cemetery is our STAGE. Meet historical Staten
Islanders from the 18th through 20th century, portrayed by well known Staten
Island actors in period dress. Special acknowledgment to Donna Dimino and Joseph
Smith, Producers of this event.
