Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Monday, April 4th 2016 from 10:30 AM till about noon, Staten Island/Fountain Cemetery main entrance at 1652 Richmond Terrace will be open to visitors. Limited parking is available in the cemetery driveway, just pull in through the Richmond Terrace double gates and park.

Sunday, May 22 1-3 PM, Annual Commemoration of the Great Irish Hunger at the Marine Hospital-Quarantine Cemetery 26 Central Avenue, St. George; live music, dedication of cemetery signage/ Irish Hunger Marker and speakers on the history of the site and Irish Famine immigration. Plenty of free street parking on Sunday's.
Saturday, May 28, 2 PM Annual Neighborhood Remembrance Day Celebration, Lake Cemetery. This year FACSI will honor Staten Island Women in the war. Specifically; active military, Nurses, Ladies Auxiliary and Gold Star Mothers.
