I have also searched different trees on Ancestry. Does anyone have a source/document some sort of proof to verify his parents?? I am finding him listed with father being Moses Tompkins b 17500- and finding Moses Tompkins 1773-1810. And finding Gouverneur with birth date of 1800 and 1816. I know Gouv. married Samantha Curry. But is there documented paper as to his parents? Also finding Gouv listed with siblings- but the list chances. Any help appreciated.
