SPECIAL EVENT
Similar to the idea of the "Antiques Road Show" on public television, the NYC
Metro Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) is
pleased to announce their sponsorship of a FREE one-to-one "professional
advice" event between professional genealogists and any family history
researcher who attends this year's Family History Fair. This forum is
designed to help both the novice and the advanced family history researcher.
The NYC APG hopes to have experts available in many areas of genealogy that
may be of interest to attendees
Choose ONE genealogical problem that you would like to discuss with a
professional. Each consultation session will be limited to about 15 minutes.
Prepare and bring with you any material you would like to use (family group
sheet, a particular document, etc.) to illustrate your problem or question.
Sign up at the APG booth upon your arrival at the Family History Fair.
You will be assigned an appointment time for your session.
Return to the APG booth at your appointment time and ask away!
