Westchester County Genealogical Society (NY) meeting notice
The next meeting for Westchester County Genealogical Society (WCGS) is this
coming Saturday. The meeting will be held at the Philipse Manor Hall in
Yonkers and it is being Co-sponsored by the Friends of Philipse Manor Hall. Meeting
starts at 10 a.m. but come earlier to network
Heather Ianucci, Historic Site Manager, will present a talk titled THE
PHILIPSE FAMILY IN AMERICA: LORDS AND LOYALISTS. The meeting will take place at
Philipse Manor Hall, Manor House Square, Yonkers
The meeting will be held at:
WHEN: Saturday, May 14, 2005 @ 10 a.m.
WHERE: Philipse Manor Hall 29 Warburton Ave (at Dock Street), Yonkers, NY.
Directions to Philipse Manor Hall
By Metro–North Commuter Railroad (Hudson River Line): Just two blocks east
of the Yonkers Station on Dock St.
From Saw Mill River Parkway: Yonkers Avenue (exit 5) west for 1¼ miles,
right on Riverdale Avenue, and left into driveway after third traffic light.
From Route 9 (Broadway):
From north, follow Route 9 to merge with Warburton Avenue, right on
Warburton, continue on Warburton for 4 miles, Manor hall appears on right side, make
right into driveway;
From south, Route 9 to Prospect Street, left one block, right on Riverdale
Avenue, left into driveway after third traffic light.
