Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I am new to this list and am posting for a friend. She had information that
Bezaliel BRYANT moved to New York sometime in the early 1800's. In searching
the censuses tonight I found the following:

Been trying for over 10 years to find some kind of death record for Samuel
HEAD of Carmel, Putnam Co., NY. He died February 21, 1881, is buried at 1st
Presbyterian Churchyard of Mahopac (cemetery marker has date of 1882, which
is incorrect according to his probate) and NY State has no death record.
Carmel has no death record. The obit had no clues as to parentage. 1st
Presbyterian's records burned in a fire.
Does anyone have a clue to his parentage? He may have also been known as
Heady, Hed, Hadden. I have tons of documents, records, deeds, probate on him
and his descendants...he married into the RHOADS family and I have tons on
