A program will follow the meeting at 10:30 A.M. HANDWRITING
Have you ever tried to decipher handwriting in the documents of our
ancestors? If you have, you know how time consuming this can be. It is time
well spent if you are able to provide yourself with a good transcript when
finished. So many of us try and get frustrated because we are unable to make
out many of the words or terminology. We give up and then wonder if the
document held the clue we needed to get us further back in our research.
This program will be a 90 minute video, professionally done, to help us
understand and decipher the script of our ancestors.
The program is free of charge and open to the public. If anyone has

Does anyone have information on a James SMITH who married Frances
MCKEEL/MEKEEL in Putnam County in 1844? Frances was the daughter of Stephen
MEKEEL and Elizabeth BELL. Parents? Dates of birth and death? Thanks.

<< How about Patterson, NY?
Patterson NY is in northeast corner of Putnam Co, bordered on the south by
Southeast, and the west by Kent.
Can anyone tell me where I can write in Brewster New york to receive a birth
certificate from 1895?
Also, can anyone tell me where "Midland" New York is? an ancestor of mine
was born there in 1874. How about Patterson, NY?
Thanks, Dennis in RI
