Wouldn't Clarendon be considered a Village since
it at least, has a post office?
Sue - who grew up in TX and is still trying to
figure this all out :-)
The Clarendon that has the post office is called a hamlet I believe.
Hamlets are much smaller that the villages. Sometimes not much more than a
crossroad. I think there are only two hamlets in the town of Clarendon -
Clarendon & Manning. The town of Clarendon is about 6 miles square.
