Subject: Where was the Village of Almeda, Town of Kortright, Delaware County, NY?

In Munsells Biographical Review, in the article on William Orr, it states that
he was a farmer and dairyman of the village of Almeda, town of Kortright, born
on the farm on where he now resides. It further states that his son, Leonard
K. Orr, was the Postmaster at Almeda.
The other Orr entry, about John H. Orr, his brother, and the Orr family, never
gets any more specific than Kortright or the town of Kortright, although the
Orrs were reported as being in the town of Kortright by 1790.
Munsells History of Delaware County has an article on Kortright but nothing on
Almeda. It is not named as a Post Office. There is only a brief mention of
Orrs in the deacons list for the Reformed Presbyterian Church and a three
sentence entry for John M. Orr.
I cant seem to locate Almeda, past or present. Where was it? Did it become
