Haven't tried to get a marriage certificate in years but certain that the
Town Clerk would have them. NYS keeps raising fees so this may have changed
also. You might like to contact the Franklin library, there is a lot of
family information there as well, and a number of scrapbooks have been
indexed. One of the older ladies that used to work in the Franklin school
was responsible for this large number of records, if remembered correctly
Pearl Whigham. Also remember that a lot of information on families is
stored on the Delaware County site, it is one if not the best in content.

Subject: [NYDELAWA-L] Marriage Records
I need advice. In sending for a record of a marriage application for
Franklin, do I send to the Franklin town Clerk, or the Delaware County
Clerk? And does anyone know the cost?
