Thanks to all who responded to this with a variety of ideas.
The person having the trouble downloaded the latest version of Acrobat
Reader and now all is well. As programs continue to upgrade across the
board, more and more 'compatibility' issues seem to arise. I recommend
to all that you use the latest browser available of your choice and also
the latest version of Acrobat Reader. J.
