Nathan Pearce Jr, was murdered during the Revolution
in 1781, in Pawling, New York, by Nathan Vaughn and his
band of robbers.
His brother, William Pearce, tracked down and killed
Nathan Pearce and Elizabeth Culver had five children,

A former county historian, Fletcher Davidson, now deceased,
stated that there were two more children of the marriage, but
this is not verified, as Nathan Pearce's will only lists five

Elizabeth (Culver) Pearce remarried after the death of
