<< I have in my files a hand written letter dated November 20, 1885 from
Sarah E Hoyt to her mother. It was written from Unadilla. In the letter, she
refers to William who I assume is her husband. Also in the letter she writes about
the illness of Amanda Soulsbery(I'm not sure of the spelling of the last name,
it could also be Sandsbery). I would be happy to share copies of the letter
with any descendants of William and Sarah Hoyt. >>
To who ever is working on William & Sarah Hoyt. From the book, At Rest in
Shirley Goerlich, it has William S. Hoyt b. 5 Apr. 1831 d. 9 Sept. 1911,
Sarah E. Waite, wife b. 22 July 1844, d. 20 May, 1906. They are both buried in
the Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Section E Internments.
Just in case you don't have this info, there is also mentioned a Hoyt, baby
boy, Gould Hoyt, J. Gould Hoyt, Mary A. Hoyt and May Hoyt.
