Know what? Since the Delaware Co Harpers were mostly in Kortright or
Harpersfield per indices, I'd study the Millers up through 1850 in those 2
townships. Here's ancestry.com's 1850 index for those 2
Miller, John Harpersfield, Delaware, NY 1850 N/A
Miller, Walter Kortright, Delaware, NY 1850
Miller, Margaret Kortright, Delaware, NY 1850
John's on page 166 which isn't available right now which probably means the
link is broken but you can maybe find that at HeritageQuest.

Subject: Another Miller
I've been reading about Delaware Co Miller families so I'm adding my search
to the list.
I'm still looking for John Miller who married Hannah Harper probably sometime
during the late 1700's early 1800's. I don't know if John is his proper
or not, but I assume that it is. My information is per their son Simeon's
Civil War Military Record stating Simeon's county of birth and names of
parents. I don't know of any siblings to Simeon.
So apparently this Miller family resided in Delaware County NY during the
early 1800's when Simeon was born abt 1809. I have found that in 1860 Simeon
had only resided in Greene Co for 11 years. He married Greene Co resident
Margaret Van Dusen and both are buried in the Huntersfield Cemetery,
Are there any Millers or Harpers out there to claim me?? Help!! I've been
trying to track down my Miller "grandparents" for the last 5 years!!
