Subject: Potter Rivenburg 2006 Family Reunion
Everyone who is related to the Rivenburg and POTTER Families is invited to
the reunion, especially those who remember the old Potter Family Reunions
that used to be held at the Rileyville Grange Hall in September each year.
The reunion will be held at the Pine Mill Community Center in Manchester
Township, Wayne County, PA. We will begin gathering at 11:00 AM and eat at

setting (plate, cup, silverware and napkin) for each family member. Coffee
and tea will be provided. If you need to heat up something, there are

"dollar store purchases" or a "white elephant" you may already have.
This is a
fundraiser to pay for the rental of the community center. There will be a
special game for children.
Do not forget to bring all of those old family pictures to share. Sally
Thorp Heath will be there with the cowbell fashioned by Jacob Potter in his
blacksmith shop, circa 1850, and all of her old pictures of Potter ancestors.
You will not want to miss her vintage postcard collection of local area
scenes! Winston, the cockatoo may even join us!
Directions from Honesdale: North on Route 191 for about 10 miles to Route
371 (Rileyville Corners). Take a left onto Route 371, follow Route 371 for
about 2 miles, and then take a right onto Pine Mill Road. Follow Pine Mill
Road for about 4 miles. The Community Center will be on the left next to a

Subject: Churchill Family of Delaware County
In the course of my family history I came across two Churchill families. I was wondering
if they tie together in some way. Below is the information I have:
1. Charles Churchill, born May 1837, married Harriet F. Armstrong. Charles father was a
Jacob Churchill, according to the 1865 men in service census.
2. Charles Augustius Churchill born in 1862 and married Julia Parsons. I do not know who
his parents are.
If any one can help me to see they are from the same family or not I would really

No these two families are not related. Charles Augustus Churchill and Julia
Persons (not, Parsons) are my great grandparents. I have the complete
genealogy of both the Churchill and Persons lines; I do not know the other
line of Churchill's.
