We have been told that George Henry WHITE, son of Jesse WHITE and Jane
ROBBE, was born in Delaware County, N.Y. on 24 Mar 1826. I have not
found nor seen evidence of when or where the WHITE family lived in
Delaware County, N.Y. Any suggestions?
The problem was that he went hop, skipping across the U.S. from Lewis,
W.VA. to Greene Co., IL., to Harrison Co., IA. on the shirttail of his
future father-in-law Levi REEDER and mother-in-law Eliza WHITE, dau. of
Thomas WHITE, out of N.J. and OH. With yDNA results with Jesse WHITE's
WHITE line, I am pretty sure my two WHITE lines are not closely related,
although I know nothing concerning the DNA of James WHITE and his sons
from Burlington, N.J.
George Henry WHITE, son of Jesse, died in Grant. Sherman Co., Oregon 16
Feb. 1895. Rev. G.H. WHITE is buried in the old M.E. Cemetery outside
the town of Wasco, Oregon in the County of Sherman in Oregon. Grant was
near modern day Biggs Junction on I-84, near the Columbia River, east of
The Dalles, Wasco Co., Oregon. And Grant, the town, no longer exists.
George's younger brother, Warren WHITE, died in Harrison Co., IA. Warren
fought in the Civil War. I don't believe that George did.

While I imagine it could get crazy quickly if you got a ton of them, if you wanted a gen

to send you one.
As I'm an Adams from the original settlers of the "Township" area of the
Town of Stamford (which was the original location of Stamford), it cross references with
most of the older families in the Hobart/Stamford area.... Just let me know if you'd
