I found a great deal of great information there and sent for many pension records. I was
working on Adams and think the authors sort of wearied as they went through the alphabet.
An Adams publication that I subscribed to purchased a slightly different Adams list.
Between the two I hardly needed to send for the documents.
Among other things they gave the date of marriage. Gave maiden names of wives, both first
and second and where married.
Really a great resource for the generation that was too young for the Revolution and too
old for the Civil War.
I'm now looking for a Thomas Williams who married a Lydia Adams and wonder if the 1812
book was out of steam by the time they got to the Ws.
