Next time you're doing some lookups would you please look for
a Philip/Philep Justin, born about 1848-1850. Not sure yet who is father
was. Also looking for his wife, Sarah Borden. They would have been
married about 1868-1872. They had a daughter Mary Justin who was born
about 1873. Might have been in the Livingston Mannor area, the Beaverkill
area, or Cochection Township.
Also looking for an Elisha Finkle.
Do you know of anyone in Sullivan County that is doing or has done
research on the following surnames: Finkle, Kinch, Justin, Peters, Miller,
Knapp, Flynn, Dumond or Hafele?
Where can I get some detailed map of Sullivan County?
Is there any way to get xerox copies of the current and old Township maps
from the late 1800's for Sullivan County?
Do you know the general path German immigrants took when coming up from
NYCity thru Orange and Sullivan Counties to Delaware County?
Thank you in advance.
PS Can you recommend some good historical genealogy books on Livingston
Manor, Beaverkill or Cochecton areas that are still available for sale?
Seem to have relatives that lived in both Delaware and Sullivan Counties or
they seemed to have moved back and forth.
