I am still not sure if Charles Everett is the right Lockwood. My
grandmother was born in Freemont Center near Calicoon, NY. 6/18/1862 Her
name was Flavia Brittimark Lockwood. I do not know if her mother was
married to Everett Lockwood or not. When Grandma was five her mother
married a Gregory and then she was known as Flavia Gregory. She always
said that her fathers name was Everett. I have A Laura Lockwood w/o
Charles buried in Sands Creek Cemetery 7/29/1859
Keep in touch.
Subject: [NYDELAWA-L] Lockwoods in Delhi; Fish and Sines in Hamden

I have been making great progress on the Lockwoods in the Delhi area and
like to tell you about it. My John LOCKWOOD of Delhi (living there
and his wife Jane ( Sanders, I think) had 6 children: one boy born
1804-5 unknown at this point-left after 1830, one girl born between
name unknown- she lived with them until about 1840,my Cornelius b.
lived in Rensselaer and Oneida counties, Sanders, b. 1810, John Jr.
both of whom remained bachelors and lived in Hamden after the death
parents, and lastly, Catherine b. 1815 who married Orrin FISH and
Hamden most of her married life. I have also traced the line of
who married their daughter, Mary Jane Fish.
The line you might be connected with (William Henry and Charles Everette
LOCKWOOD,lived in Buttercup or Unadilla ,Otsego and supposedly came to
after 1850. I haven't gone further than that with them.
I have also traced the various Lockwoods living in other Delaware Co
from 1810- 1860. I am keeping a file on all that I find.
I f you can help me with my missing people in the John Lockwood family. I
would really appreciate it. Or if you can locate the cemetery in Delhi
John and his family may be buried that would be wonderful. I
to cemetery names or records.
Hope to hear from you soon.
