I was going thru some things I got at Sidney, NY and found a copy
I got of Linn S GARRISON's obit from the Sidney Record & Bainbrige paper
dated Thurs, Dec. 15, 1960 and thought you might be interested in it.
(or anyone else researching GARRISON).

officiating. Burial will be in Guilford Center Cemetery.
Mr. Garrison was born Sept. 3, 1883, at Guilford, the son of Ellis
and Sarah (Sherwood) Garrison. He married Mattie Brizzee, who died March
Mr. Garrison, a resident of Oneonta for many years, was a
machinist on the D & H Railroad for 30 years before retiring in 1952.
He is survived by four sons, Raymond, Bainbridge; Ralph, Oneonta
RD 2; Lyle, Oneonta; and Donald L., Little Rock, Ark.; a brother, Claude,
Earlville; a sister, Mrs. Leslie Bailey, Richmondville; six grandchildren,
two great grandchildren, four nephews and a niece.
My connection: Archibald Campbell Garrison's dau, Julia A (b 1858
in Colchester, Del Co.) md James Tuckey from Coventry and they are my gt
grandparents on my grandmother's side. I remember that Linn came to my
father's (Ernest STIMPSON) funeral in August of 1960. I believe they were
cousins as I think that Linn's father, Ellis, was Julia's brother.
