By now you have probably received the fax from HRCU regarding retirement
I spoke to Dr. R about it - he was not happy about the mistake in 2005 and
explained the whole situation to me. One set of papers is for me to set up
an account with Schwab; the other set of papers is to be mailed with it so
the money can be taken from his account and transferred to the new one. I
don't think I do anything with the second set except sign under Dr. R's
signature. (I covered up his SSN/employee ID # for the fax).
I am supposed to fill out the paperwork and get it back to Dr. R (I will be
away for the weekend, so it won't be done till at least Monday). Schwab is
supposed to be sending him an overnight mailer and he will overnight it with
a letter when I get it to him. From there, they already have the other
papers and they will cut a check from Schwab to Pruco.
The amount of money originally set up will be the amount, which is good
because the stock market has been going down.
Any input on the forms will be appreciated so I do it correctly. Though I
won't fill them out tomorrow (Friday), if I know what to do, I can prepare
the papers Sunday or Monday.
Thanks for your help in this complicated matter!

Subject: [NYDELAWA] Roman Palmer
Roman Palmer (born 1840, died December 1864) is one of the Town of
Bovina's Civil War Soldiers. He bought a house in Bovina in March of
1864, married Margaret K. Gladstone in July, went off to war in
September and was killed in action in December in South Carolina. I'm
trying to identify who his parents were. I think they were Saunders (or
Sanders) and Cornelia Palmer, but it's an educated guess at this point.
The family appears to have been from Connecticut, but were living in
Hamden when Roman was born. By 1866, Sanders and family had moved to
Bloomville. Sanders died in 1879. Any information that might help me
identify this soldier's parents would be appreciated.
