Subject: [NYCOLUMB] Columbia County Resources- Advice?

Message Board Post:
My Pickett ancestors were presumably born in Columbia County (Spencertown). This would
have been between 1783 and 1795. I have hit a dead-end on finding sources for them before
they moved on to Chautaugua County in 1810. What resources are available in Columbia
County for this period? If I get a chance to visit, where should I go for research? Are
there any resources available online? I may have 2 days to spend in the area, and need to
have a plan!
Thanks for any help available!
