I doubt that I can add very much more than what I sent earlier. I have
a David Williams in my ancestry and in researching him I made notes of
all David Williams and wives in Columbia County. There were several,
and my David Williams was a different one. All I can add is that David
Williams/Sara Rossel had other children born in the period between 1775
and 1781. All girls. One of them was named Neelje bp. 1/1777. Neelje
Fynhout (b. 2/22/1696 Kingston Ulster NY, Dutch family) was the name of
my David Williams grandmother (if I have correctly identified my
lineage!!!) so it is possible because of the use of that name that your
David is related to mine. I think my David Williams was the son of
Arent (Aaron) Williams and Mary Barbara Lampman. And the grandson of
William Williams and Neelje Fynhout. I know that Arent had a brother
David bp. Linlithgo RC 6/11/1733. And I am aware William and Neelje had
a couple daughters. There may have been more sons who I did not find.

don't have any idea if this fits your family but I did find twins-Catherina and
Hillitje, daughters of David Williams and Sara Russel baptised in Kinderhook R.C.
5/12/1783. Sponsors were William Van Aalstein, Catherina Knickhorbakker, Jan Van der Kaar,
Hillitje Vander Zee.
