I remember you recommending this site- Troy Irish Genealogical Society- but I am afraid
its significance went over my head. In my cursory glance at it I assumed it was just for
Irish families or persons of Irish descent. I see now it has more than that.
I will look into it more carefully before I go to bed as a few of Charles' cousins
lived cross the county line in Albany County in Watervilet, Maybe the Troy Irish Society
might cover those as well. I will keep my fingers crossed.
Do you feel based on the wording of the funeral and newspaper notice for Charles that he
was single at his death? I have searched for a marriage but not found one and there was
no mention of a wife but funeral at mothers. he was living with mother as a single 27
year old on the 1880 census.
