I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as that of Violet PALSGROVE
which was taken at a studio in Carson City, NV. The photograph appears to
have been taken in the early 1900's with Violet about 2 years old at the
time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the
following information regarding Violet and her family:
Martha Violet PALSGROVE was b. 30 Dec 1907 in Nevada to parents John B.
PALSGROVE (b. 1861) and Mary Emma MOORE (b. 1887). Violet married Harry
BENNETTS (1895-1981) and together they had two children. Violet died 28 May
2001 in Silver City, NV.
Census records provide the following details:
1920 census of Reno, NV:
John PALSGROVE, age 59, born PA, parents born PA, a Carpenter
M. Emma PALSGROVE, wife, age 33, born KS, parents born NC/IA, a Housewife
Violet PALSGROVE, dau, age 12, born NV
1930 census of Reno, NV:

I'm hoping to return the photograph to family. If you are a member of this
family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
