Gary Lee Hall, age 54, passed away on June 7, 2004 in Reno. He was born August 30, 1949
in Bell Ca. to Leland and Eileen Hall. He was a Vietnam era veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Deborah, and their two sons, Gregory and Matthew,
both of Reno; brother Leland R. Hall Jr. of Yerington, NV; sisters, Barbara Davis of Apple
Valley, CA., and Marylyn Hart of Kingman, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gary and Deborah and family moved frominnemucca to the Reno area in 1991. Always involved
in his local community, he served as past master of Masonic Lodge #19 in Winnemucca and
was Music Director of both the 1st Baptist Church and Christian Fellowship Church there
before moving to Reno.
Here in Reno he continued his Masonic membership by joining the Kerak Shrine and was a
member of the Sparks Christian Fellowship Church.
Gary, a licensed realtor and broker was General Manager of Hawco Corp and was involved
with many community boards, serving on Spanish Springs Citizens Advisory Board and two
Reg. Trans. committees, the 2030 committee and Pyramid Corridor Committee. He also was
involved with Builders Assoc of Northern NV. Washoe Blue Ribbon Water Committee,
Development Services Community Advisory Committee and 3 Homeowners Assoc. Boards in
Spanish Springs.
Gary was a lifelong avid outdoorsman and traveled far to enjoy both hunting and fishing.
His other hobby involved being a member of local chapter 65 of the National Assoc. of
Watch and Clock Collectors.
