I just want to congratulate you wonderful people who has done this cemetery
work. I have no family(at this time) in any of these cemeteries, however I
really enjoy the pictures. You are all such dedicated family history
workers, and appreciated.

Subject: [NVWASHOE] New cemeteries now on line
I'm pleased to announce that two new cemeteries have been added
to the
Nevada Tombstone Project.
Fred Jorgenson of Pahrump, along with the Pahrump Genealogical Society,
have combined their efforts and the result is a completely documented
Grandview Cemetery, with photos. This cemetery is a fairly new cemetery,
and is well maintained. Fred has also submitted updated photos for
Pahrump's other cemetery, Chief Tecopa Cemetery, which will be posted in
the near future.
Pahrump is located in Nye County. We really appreciate the great efforts
to capture our genealogy that Fred and the Pahrump Genealogical Society
have contributed. A map of the Grandview Cemetery will be added in the
near future, plus some information published by the Pahrump Genealogical
Society will be added.

I've added a very colorful cemetery, Boot Hill, located in Pioche, Nevada,
which is in Lincoln County. Pioche is one of Nevada's early mining
communities, and in its early history, settled disputes in a rather abrupt
way. Boot Hill reflects that part of our early history.
You can view both new additions by going to
http://usgwtombstones.org/nevada/nevada.html
and select Nye or Lincoln Counties.
