Hi Heather,
I'm willing to look at CADI. Selina Bulter aka Selina Herman, born 1922;
last contact 1950. I can check 1960-94 for those two names. Have you tried
searching the SSDI on line?

If you need clarification on any point, please include the previous message
in your response.

thanks for the reply but when I tell you the story , you might want
to
withdraw your offer.
My mother and her 2 brothers and 2 sisters where put in an orphanage in
1929
when their father had an aneurysem and their mother left them there
and
started a new family with a man she had met coming to Canada to marry my
grandfather!! The children were separated in the orphanage into age groups
and
while they knew of each other , it was hard to keep contact. When they
forced
from the institution at Grade 10, the siblings eventually lost all
contact
with each other through moves , etc. My aunt found my mother in about 1950
,
when my aunt came back from Nevada to see me as a newborn but she
retuned
to
the US. All the sisters and brothers eventually found each other even
the
one
adopted to the States except for my aunt. Her name was Selina Bulter
,
first
married name Herman but sure to have got a divorce. She was born
April 19,
1922 ( somewhere in Saskatchewan- but never registered) . S ince Nevada
was
fairly unsettled in the 1940s, it is very likely she might have
migrated to
California as she did like the good life according to my mother . We only
want to find her to make sure she is alright and if not what help she might
need as she is approaching 80 and if she is dead , we want to honour her
grave .
Thanks and I will understand completely if you do not want to take on this
wild goose chase
